Recovering from a Failed Bootlace Flash

If you interrupt the Bootlace flashing process or it fails for whatever reason then here are some steps to help avoid losing your data or having to restore.

1. If the flashing stage does fail then DO NOT REBOOT! Your NOR could have incomplete images flashed to it or be completely empty and thus won't boot until the problem is fixed.

2. Try flashing again if you accidentally closed the app or it got interrupted. Even if you were removing OpeniBoot the whole set of NOR images has to be reflashed so make sure you try again even when removing!

3. If flashing via Bootlace still will not fix the problem, backup any important files to your computer and/or via iTunes Sync.

4. Try rejailbreaking via redsn0w. Redsn0w works by flashing a new set of NOR images and a new kernelcache. Just make sure to untick the "Install Cydia" option as it won't be needed.

5. If all this fails or you are stuck in DFU then Redsn0w should still work however you may have to resort to a restore. Google instructions for DFU restore.
