Welcome to the iDroid Project Website! The iDroid Project aims to fully port the Android OS to Apple's iDevices. With the utilisation of 'openiBoot' as a bootloader, we are able to boot the Linux Kernel and then load Android. This ability also allows us to boot any Linux based operating system. An example of this is iX which aims to port Ubuntu.

iDroid is officially distributed with an iOS application named Bootlace which has the ability to install iDroid without the need of a computer.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the forums. You can also talk to developers directley in #iphonelinux or #idroid-dev on irc.osx86.hu

This is an open source project, please, keep things legal.
Links to illegal warez, copyrighted materials, etc. will be removed. (Details)
