The one from Jaywalker's github simply reboots your ipt2g. Don't get your hopes up.

@Alex, do You know anyone with ipt2g? I don't so reason of My post was answering if here is anybody who want to test as I think that will be fair enough that We build kernel and iboot for it too.
So, let's roll this part also.
Cheers
I have an ipt2g myself. Kernel cannot be built yet as we don't even have LCD and USB support on openiboot. I haven't talked to Jaywalker/TheUnleet in a while so I don't know the progress on that.

I have a iPod Touch 2g running 3.1.3 (7E18), but I'm not sure I'm reading the tutorials to install correctly.  It's a bit technical for me, so I wouldn't be too much help really.  If I didn't use my device at work I would send it to a developer if it would help them. :(

IDK why I replied, I'm not any help at all.

Hey guys,

I can help out with this as well. This is an awesome project and I'd love to help out any way I can. If there's a build for the touch 2g then please point me to it and I shall start testing! If there's some dev work that needs to be done to make this work I can possibly help out there as well.

Are you using the iPhone / iPod 1G build or is there an iPod 2G specific build up somewhere?

Unfortunately iDroid doesn't yet boot on devices other than iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G and iPod touch 1G. What is needed before it'll boot on anything else is a compatible OpeniBoot for that device, and this is a lot of work.
32gb factory unlocked iPhone 3GS with early bootrom and shsh for all available firmwares

Here's openiboot.img3 compiled for ipt2g

No guarantee it will work, though...
