If you built OpeniBoot recently from source, it is version 0.3.

I think Kleemajo's new OpeniBoot is also version 0.3.

I'm not sure about the 10 second autoboot. This must something Kleemajo put.

would kleemajo put it in because openiboot is not ready for ipod touch 2g then.....
but in openiboot 0.2 it allows users to install it
why would it be in now on version 0.3?

As of today, OpeniBoot is NOT ready for iPod Touch 2G. It's still a work in progress.

I think Kleemajo removed the install command to make sure no one screws up and bricks their iPod Touch 2g.  You should not install these unless you absolutely know what you are doing.

You can try to play with OpeniBoot on iPod Touch 2G but it's still not fully working that android or an OS can be ported to it. The OpeniBoot is best for people who want to help develop.
