Multiple problems (see thread details) HELP!
« on: October 03, 2011, 09:37:20 PM »
Hi

(not sure this is the right place to post this...sorry!)
I have an iPhone 2G 8GB and recently got whited00r 4.4.1. as my iOS.
Installed bootlace, openiboot 0.2, and iDroid 11.04 with no problems.
Now problems arise when android is done launching and goes to the homescreen.
-multiple problems arise with applications crashing and had to "unexpectedly closed"
-wifi shows error and cannot connect
-when the iPhone goes idle for like a minute, it reboots to iOS
-when I do the combination: hold home button+power button for a second to turn off the display/lockscreen, it mistakes for hard reset.

Is there any remedies to these problems?
Thanks in advance!

The "reboot when screen turns off" bug is a iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 1G issue.  It should never happen on an iPhone 2G.

Now of course that happens if you are using stock iOS 3.1.3 or 3.1.2.  Whited00r is an unknown factor on what it does to your phone but it should not cause any problems in Android.

Hard resets usually happen if you hold the Home and Power for 8-10 seconds. If you only hold it for 1 second and it hard resets, either you are experiencing a "reboot when screen turns off" bug or the hardware is broken. Have you tried holding home and power in iOS and seeing when it hard resets? Is it shorter in Android or just the same?

yes its shorter in android. In iOS, holding home+power button for 2 seconds does nothing. so ya'll say its a "reboot when screen turns off" bug? what about the other problems?

By the way, great release! you have my support!

That bug should not exist for iPhone 2G.

Have you tried iDroid without using whited00r?

Well, on the stock 3.1.3, it wouldn't even connect to the servers to check for updates/find the software.
I just reinstalled iDroid 11.04, and its doing the same thing, reboot when idle.
Oh well, I guess I'll try again with stock 3.1.3 and jb with redsn0w.

I have iPhone 2g and use redsn0w-win_0.9.2 to 3.1.3, Pepparkaka 11.04, Android 2.3.3 has same problem.  wait around 1min in Android mode than reboot automatically .  Also most of applications crashing and had to "unexpectedly closed"
anyone can help?  Thank you.
