Anyways:

LATEST RELEASE: Version 4 (ddFroYo2g_v4.zip) July 27, 2021

Changes:

V4 (July 27, 2021):
1. DNS FIX - I have included the DNS fix using OpenDNS servers in android.img.gz

2. LARGER CACHE.IMG - I have increased the size of cache.img to equal that of system.img this will slightly boost performance.

3. SD CARD EMULATION - SD card now works. Enough said. Default linked SD card folder in iPhone OS is /private/var/mobile/Media (where the MP3s are).

If you already have the stock V3 (without google apps or any modifications to system.img), just replace system.img, android.img.gz and cache.img.

Download V4: http://www.mediafire.com/file/9b5jvzna8 ... o2G_v4.zip

Updated original post as well. Nitestarzz, if you plan to use this for NAiDroid, go ahead and do so.

SD Card Emulation not working for me . Help me ! Beside , another things so good on new version .

Please read it and all SD card problems will be solved.
I've sold my soul to Google.
I'm running my iPhone with the better OS (Android 2.2).
I'm using Google Chrome instead of MSIE and Firefox.

Hi there,

it's been a long time since i tested idroid. So i want to know if we are now able to make/take call ?

Is there any benefit in battery life to switch to idroid compared to ios 3.x.x for instance ?

I don't know if there's a wiki guide to know what's working and what's not with some battery bench and so.. I was unable to find such infos.

Thanks.

There is a wiki guide and please post in the proper threads. This thread is only for ddFroYo2G releases. Read the first post for more info.

Do you have all the files in /private/var? Android.img.gz, system.img, cache.img, userdata.img, zImage ?

Did you check if the filesizes in /private/var match the filesizes on your computer? There may be errors in transferring.

My touch function isn't working...
Meaning that your release does not have the touchscreen fix.

ddominator wrote:What the heck is the "touchscreen fix?

The touchscreen fix is a small section of code added to the zImage that allows users who've had their digitizer replaced to use multitouch.
This seems to be the case with all 2g phones who have had both OEM apple and chinese parts.

link here to a thread with the solution:
[url]http://www.idroidproject.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=460/url]

Hopefully someone will be able to have this resolved soon.
