Is it possible to link the translated main pages in the main page? It is circumstantial to reach the translated ones. I'll would like to create a german main page. -- Regnets 18:27, 20 September 2021 (GMT)

Yes, but we're just about to move to a new host, we're not entirely sure if we're gonna just merge the entire Wiki or if we're gonna rewrite the majority of the content and keep only parts. For example, the main page is changing completely. --Rekoil (talk) 18:30, 20 September 2021 (UTC)

working on the logo. --Trencher 00:18, 24 April 2022 (UTC)

Yay! --Konaya 00:20, 24 April 2022 (UTC)

finished: --Trencher 00:39, 24 April 2022 (UTC)

Nice, but could you make it with a transparent background? Also, png format. JPG doesn't support transparency and is lossy. --Konaya 00:49, 24 April 2022 (UTC) --Trencher 00:57, 24 April 2022 (UTC)
Good. New logo set :) also, are there any trademark issues using the android logo? --Konaya 16:47, 24 April 2022 (UTC)
Google requires the the logo be under the creative commons licences not sure if you can use a picture of an iPhone though --Sethhikari 05:53, 25 April 2022 (UTC)

Would it be possible for me to get access to edit the main page? It seems like it could be made easier to use for a lot of people that appear to be having trouble finding information that is in the inner pages. --Nord

Certainly not after you just added unofficial releases back to the release page after I asked people not to do so. The releases page is for official builds only as they have been tested to be stable. People can easily enough find the unofficial ones on the forums. --Neonkoala 09:05, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
While you may have somehow drawn the conclusion that I did this for evil, malicious reasons, the reality of this is that I didn't know that this had been discussed, nor that it would be a big deal to have the unofficial releases up there, considering a majority of the userbase now uses them instead of the 0.1a release. Needless to say, I apologize if this has caused someone's time to go into reversing my edits, and for overlooking the discussions page, or wherever it is that your instructions were given out. I believe I had sincere and genuine intentions behind the edits I made, as well as the edits I wanted to make on the main page. Since you've swiftly passed an apparent certain judgment on my ability to contribute to making this wiki more accessible to new users, I hope someone more capable and in the loop comes along and organizes the information soon. --Nord
Just in future check the discussion is my point. But anyway, what are your proposed changes to the front page? I'm open to improvements. Just wanted to clarify the earlier point. I can unlock the front page if they're good. --Neonkoala 08:37, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
I was thinking of rearranging the content and possibly dividing it between User/Developer/Community categories - placing howtos, guides, FAQs in the user section, links to repositories, coding issues, technical information in the developer section and having the community section include news, donation links, calls for wiki entries, page translations, etc. --Nord
We're currently and constantly in progress of figureing out how to set up things (layout wise), if you have any ideas, feel free to suggest something, we also should try to keep the ammount on the main page to a minimum, we're not a news site trying to feed information that's not needed for, in case you need some info there's a perfectly fine search bar.--Ninn
@Nord, go ahead and create an example of what you would do to the front page under your user name (e.g. User:Nord/Main_Page) and I will take a look at it :) --Rekoil (talk) 22:33, 20 May 2022 (UTC)

Please add "Building openiboot" to the Mainpage

Somebody be so kind and add to the Mainpage in the How to? section.

Done. --Neonkoala 09:05, 19 May 2022 (UTC)

Wrong Information

Someone please change the release news and change it from "1.0a Which Supports 2G and 3G" to "Supports only 2G fornow"

Fixed it --Neonkoala 21:48, 16 May 2022 (UTC)

iDroid 0.2 officially supports iPhone 3G. This should be updated in the "How To?" subsection. -iphonebuff

Fixed, by the way the proper way to sign a MediaWiki comment is --~~~~ --Rekoil (talk) 15:27, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
